For most of us, going to the doctor isn’t easy or enjoyable – this can be especially true for residents of senior living communities. Traveling to and from appointments can be stressful and doctors only spend an average of 15 minutes with patients. And, when something urgent comes up, residents often have no choice but to go to the emergency room or urgent care where they may be at higher risk of infection or other illness. Pine Park Health is dedicated to changing this experience.
We believe healthcare providers should be paid to help patients get or stay healthy — so that’s how we’re designing Pine Park Health. As a value-based care practice, we’ll take on the responsibility of managing the health of our patients and measure every part of care to ensure we achieve better health outcomes and lower costs.
We brought together world-class providers and industry leaders to redesign how residents of senior living communities experience healthcare. We’re passionate about helping patients feel seen, heard, respected, and valued, as well as changing the way healthcare is delivered.
Kendell Cannon, MD is the architect of Pine Park's clinical philosophy and approach to care. She’s invested her career in helping people age beautifully and is motivated to redesign healthcare in a way that supports what people want for their health and life.
She completed her medical education and residency at the University of Utah, School of Medicine and her fellowship at the Stanford School of Medicine, Healthcare Innovation and Design.
