About me

I was raised in Oakland and am a fan of the Raiders and the A’s. While I've traveled and lived in over 20 countries, I've always returned to the Bay Area and found it to hold everything great about the world: good food, beauty, and a creative and diverse population.

Over my prior medical career, I worked as an EMT, mobile phlebotomist, MA, hospice volunteer, and an ER Technician and saw the myriad of ways that our healthcare system fails. I became a PA so that I could fill in the gaps in that system and treat patients as I would want to be treated. I was drawn to Pine Park Health because of the medical goal of care-based medicine, that puts the patient first, and the business goal of preventing the failings of our healthcare system.

What their patients are saying:
“Rebecca is wonderful! I appreciate the holistic approach to care for the patient, not just the physical needs, but the emotional, social, or mental needs which all count toward general good health. I'm glad Pine Park Health is now an option in the community. Makes a huge difference.”
“Rebecca is attentive, answers all our questions, gives helpful advice, and truly cares about the patient.”
"It's really huge for me, to have Rebecca Armstrong and Pine Park Health onsite for my husband's doctor visits. He's not in any shape to have to go out of the facility, and yet I feel that he is getting excellent care through Pine Park."
